Blogging Time

Being away from work for a week can really make you feel at ease, being able to relax and enjoy your time without any thoughts of work, and it is really a good combination to travel, to have an adventure.

Went to Baguio to visit my grandmother.. enjoying my time with her since I really don’t know how much time she have left. Then visiting the sights of Baguio, although I didn’t really took a lot of time frolicking in that cold area of the Philippines.

I just took time to visit the company my uncle is working with and its Texas Instrument - Philippines, its a U.S. company which cater to construction of semi conductors and chip sets. Its a 5 hectare land and build solely for construction of semiconductors and chips for PC and also a former manufacturer of computers and calculators.

Right now they are constructing a second branch in Clark, and needs about 8,000 employees.. but most of its employees are Engineering graduates since its products is solely on engineering products. The quality of task and work are a top level and its policy is very strict, you have to wear this plastic wrappers for your shoes (forgot whats the name)… and I got to talk to one of the nurses giving their Physical Exams. Applicants who don’t tend to get the instructions given to them verbally looses a chance to get in the company. Imagine being not able to distinguish which is your left eye and right eye.

But what I’m proud of is that the President for both Baguio and Clark branches are both from Iloilo. So when you think of having your field trips try going to Texas Instrument.. its a trip worthwhile

Its been a week that I took my vacation leave to visit my ailing grandmother. It was fun yet sad to see her knowing that she is aging and possible she might not make it next year.. hopefully that won’t happen. It was fun being in Baguio, needed time to straighten  things out in my life.

I never thought something stupid will ever come my way.. and yet it did.. for some reason someone text my mother saying stupid things even making things up, and yet somehow when you put two and two together you can’t seem to negate a feeling of thinking of a particular someone since the whole issues involving us are very much accurate when that particular person beguns to talk.. if not you a friend of yours whom you have given information pertaining about us.

Well all has been said and done, I may have said those words due to my anger cause all the angles are pointed at you. Don’t try to act all innocent…

I give you thanks for all the knowledge you given me into this world of blogosphere, thanks for giving love to those little one.

When can we say that studying and playing is enough or when can we learn to say no to some activities in order to excel on another aspect? Which aspect of life is given more attention.. mental or physical skills.

During my school days I was given options enjoy what I was doing and have a unpleasant future or endure the pain of studying and learning and have a enjoyable future.. well I opted for the first option, enjoying and not thinking about my future..and I regretted all of that.. thinking how most of my cousins and friends are now doing… having high positions in a highly competent companies with high paying jobs.

Now that I have two kids, and need to be brought up the opposite way I did, I realize they need to study in order to have a stable job in the future I just hope they wont settle for a job that could not be suited for them.

Nowadays every body is setting up their net connections everywhere, even trying to get those wireless connection via satellite. Technology really has evolved now a days everybody wants to be on the hi end of the modern technology, signing up with those internet connection providers.

Well it may be alright to go with the band wagon as we all know technology has its reason for being here. Having your own internet connection is a sure way to be up to date with recent events, news, and celebrity gossips and researches for school works and assignments is an ease.. We pay a lot for this internet connection providers and even upgrading our accounts with them but what some or mostly don’t know that when we pay for upgrades for better net connection we sometimes think that its true.. sure for the first one or two weeks the upgrades make u smile and enjoy your downloading times and even video streaming or music streaming.. your enjoying “YOUTUBE” watching and listening for the latest issue about Willie and Joey or finding your favorite videos.

But after the first two weeks your net connections suddenly failed.. you think maybe its just a glitch and start to turn your modem off and powering up again and you see your connected.. sight of relief; then you notice that your speed suddenly is not the same, you wondered why.. you then decided to call your internet provided and question this.. their response “technical difficulties” or “problem with one of the net wires” worse “some company sabotage our fiber optics” then you ask “when can you fix this?” a reply would say “maybe a few days, weeks” or to make you feel comfortable “half a day” but you’ll blow your head when they say “we don’t know yet sir“.

You feel troubled having a slow connection.. you might say this is just a minor set back.. I could go out and enjoy like meeting with friends, malling or even night outs.. then the “BILLS“, Why am I charge like this when I barely used my internet due to technical difficulties… you then call their hotline numbers and complained. They would say will just make arrangements with your bills sir you seem relieve that you wont be paying much but in the end the arrangements won’t even hurt your net provider as your BILLS still seems high.

So are you really paying for the right internet connections or is the upgrades that your paying is worthwhile?

This is marketing for you.. the DARK SIDE of Internet Providers..

Being a father is not an easy task, some of you out there might think one or twice before having children as taking care of them and watching them grow up is not an easy thing to do. Don’t get me wrong I love my children, I love taking care of them but its not that as simple as saying your ABC, before I believe that having kids is the greatest achievement of all but soon realize that having them is not an achievement but being able to bring them to this world and nurture them teach them what is right and what is wrong, being patient with them and see them in the future having achieve more or equal to what the parents have achieve is what makes you proud and say I have been successful in my life.

What made me say this? I realize just now, after tutoring my daughter and seeing her not being able to cope up with her lessons and she has this tendency to have her attention and focus diverted seems to dampen my pride as a father fearing that someday my daughter will grow up with out having to be guided properly and her learning habits hasn’t been corrected.
