A university in Britain underwent a research study to see if an eating habit of a pregnant mother can affect the sexes of unborn children.  Out of a 740 pregnant mothers they were divided into 3 groups and their calories intake vary, with this number, 56 percent of the pregnant mothers who have taking in high energy food had sons compared to 45 percent in the least-well fed cohort.

Reason for this can be seen to some countries with low energy level food given to mothers to be producing  more female than male babies.
