Non-Verbal Communication

Posted by hteodosio on Feb-13-2008

The most powerful language of all is Body language, a quiet, secretive language medium. Half of our non-verbal language communicates what we really meant. We often don’t recognize that are already communicating to someone with out realizing it

We can understand what people are really communicating and become aware of what we are broadcasting with our own non-verbal cues by improving our ability to familiarizing ourselves nonverbal signals.

Posture, movements and positions of a person’s body would tell us exactly what they mean (which may be the exact opposite of what they are saying). When a person has great intuition about other people, this is due to being observant of individuals around them, conscious or not of the non-verbal communication. Training or years of observation and analysis of people, this individuals can interpret verbal and non-verbal languages.

So the next time when a girl pass by you and ask “what is the time?” Don’t just tell her the time and leave, or if you’re a girl and when a guy ask you “Excuse me. Do you know where I can mail a letter around here?” , Don’t point him to that direction accompany him if its just a couple of blocks away.
