Baby @ the office

Posted by hteodosio on Feb-29-2008

Another working day has passed and its time to relax.

Work was a bit tiring though. Had lunch with my babies along with their mother and grand mother. My eldest daughter joined me and her mom to the office and she was an instant hit to my office mates. Speaking English to their attention, and my officemates commented that she look like me and was proud of it(hope no violent reaction from the mother hehehe).

Enjoyed my day so much and my client gave me enough confidence to handle the accounts of my client’s clients credit card. Glad that my client gave his trust to me.

Now I’m back home along with my babies enjoying a fun day and much needed rest.

February 25 1986- Edsa Revolution

EDSA REVOLUTION

February 25, to some its just another date in the month of February, but for those who have felt pain and anguished remember this as a day where people by the thousand parade to the Epifanio de los Santos Avenue commonly called EDSA, which was also known as Peoples Power or EDSA Revolution, where Filipino people gathered and protest the 20 year dictatorship of disposed president Ferdinand Marcos in February 25 1986. With just voices and prayer people toppled a dictatorial government which Ferdinand Marcos declared a Martial Law on September 21, 1972 which give him overall authority over the military and national treasury. With the power that he has gain, he then manipulated the country’s money and to use the military presence to stop any uprising or probable political rival.

With recent events such as the assassination of Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino, a Philippine senator and a leading oppositionist to the autocratic rule of Ferdinand Marcos, on August 21, 1983, and the snap election made probably with pressure by Washington on February 7, 1986, which was full of violence and corruption. With both NAMFREL and COMELEC each siding with different presidental candidates, Ferdinand Marcos and Ninoy Aquino’s widow Corazon Aquino.

With the controversy of the election, Ferdinand Marcos still became the President of the Philippines, which led to the Revolution on February 25 1986 led by Corazon Aquino, Minister of Defense Juan Ponce Enrile and the Vice Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Lt. Gen. (later president) Fidel Ramos.

Sunday and what had transpired

Posted by hteodosio on Feb-24-2008

What transpire here today and the activities that had been done made me say that today is a pleasant day although the rain late in the afternoon didn’t made any effects on me.

Had lunch with relatives at Breakthrough although my mom was sick and was contemplating if she would go or not, but with my father’s words of persuasion (darn, those doggy eyes ) we went anyway. After those carnivorous and herbivorous appetite (mostly meat) we went to the mall to have my brother’s eyeglasses fix.

After paying for the eyeglass, we venture into a large area to obtain foods and necessities for our home. commonly called the grocery area. After an our we paid for our bills and went out, by my mom has other plans, time for self satisfaction she said. So we went to shop which offer satisfaction and maintenance for your hygiene… they offer different sorts of services.. hair cut, facial, manicure, pedicure, even ear cleaning and foot spa.. come to think of it I think they called the place.. “Baron Barber Shop” really don’t know why they named that place as it is, as nobody in that area has a name Baron.

With the time consumed, we went home and relaxed our weary body, when I woke up (they woke me up from my slumber actually) we had delicious foods courtesy of the Caravana Family as they have their annual barrangay fiesta in Oton.  Have to give them thanks for the food it really made my night.
